RAW BANANA FRITTERS / VAZHAIKKAI BAJJI

This is a great snack recipe.. easy to  make. Only simple ingredients needed.  No fail recipe ... follow the exact method to get oil less bajji... don't add more water to make the batter. 

Good evening snack with a cup of tea at rainy season...  just give a try.... HAPPY COOKING.......🐦

INGREDIENTS  : 

  1. Raw banana  - 2 
  2. Besan flour - 1 cup
  3. Chilli powder - 2 tsp 
  4. Garlic - 3 pods 
  5. Asafoetida- small pinch 
  6. Salt - to taste 
  7. Oil - for deep fry 

RECIPE : 

Take all the ingredients 
Take a bowl
Add besan flour 
Add chilli powder 
Add salt , crushed garlic and asafoetida 
Mix well 
Add by little water and make a paste 
It should not be thick and not too thin 
It should be in pouring consistency 
Heat oil in a kadai 
Peel the skin of raw banana and cut it into thin round slices 
Take a slice 
Dip into  mixed batter 
Deep dry banana until golden brown 
Fritters ready... serve hot
