THAYIR SEMIYA/ CURD SEMIYA

Curd semiya is a good substitute for usual breakfast recipes.. I love it.. sweet raisins and cashews gives rich taste.  I love it..

INGREDIENTS  : 

  1. Semiya  - 1/2 cup 
  2. Curd - 5 tbl spn 
  3. Oil - 2 tsp 
  4. Mustard seeds, urad dal - 1 tsp 
  5. Green  chilli- 1 
  6. Ginger - 1 small piece 
  7. Curry leaves- 1 spring 
  8. Raisins , cashew - 1 tsp spn 
  9. Badam strips - for garnish 
  10. Grated carrot- 1 tbl spn 
  11. Salt - to taste 

RECIPE  : 

Take all the ingredients 
Start by dry roast semiya slightly 
Boil water 
Add semiya and cook well 
Once cooked drain it and keep aside
Heat oil in a pan 
Add mustard seeds and urad dal 
Let it splutter 
Add curry leaves 
Add ginger and chilli 
Add cashews and raisins 
Saute it , keep aside 
Take cooked semiya in a bowl 
Add curd and salt 
Add temperings 
Mix well 

Garnisg it with carrot and badam 
Serve hot ....
