KAMBU KOOL / PEARL MILLET PORRIDGE

Millet is rich in fiber.. Kambu /pearl millet is good for health. It has more nutritional values. Having kambu in ur diet will keeps u stay strong & fit. Good for all age peoples.

It is good to treat stomach ulcer. Try to include millets in regular basis. Just give a try.

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Pearl Millet /kambu - 1 cup
  2. Salt - to taste
  3. Curd / butter milk - as needed
  4. Water - 4 cups

RECIPE :

Take all the ingredients
Wash & Soak pearl millet for 5 - 6 hrs
Again clean it
Take a blender
Blend pearl millet with some water
Blend it coarsely
Now take a pressure pan
Pour this grounded mixture
Add enough water
Add salt
Close the lid
Pressure cook it for 5 - 6 whistles in low to medium flame
Let it cool
Open the lid
Take needed porridge in a bowl
Add butter milk / curd 
Mix well 
Add water to make it thin consistency
Have it with some pickle
