HOME STYLE MANGO PICKLE

This mango pickle is our favorite.. It gives awesome taste with sweet sour & hot punch.. It is very easy to make.. Do this in small quantity & enjoy its freshness..  make it whenever u want , no preservatives , no much oil is needed...

INGREDIENTS....

  1. Raw mango - 2 pc
  2. Gingelly oil - 4 tbl spoon
  3. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbl spoon
  4. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
  5. asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  7. Chilli powder - 1 tbl spoon / to taste
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Sugar - 3/4 tsp

 RECIPE :

Take all the ingredients 

Chop the mangoes

Heat a pan ,add gingelly oil

Add mustard seeds, let it splutter
Add fenugreek seeds 

Now add asafoetida

After a minute add  turmeric powder & chilli powder 



Keep the flame low
After 45 seconds add chopped mangoes

Stir it well

Cover with lid and cook for 3-4 mins
Now add salt
Again cover & cook till oil float on top
Now add the secret ingredient sugar, stir it

Cover and cook for again 2- 3 mins

Let it cool for 20 mins 
Put this pickle in a clean jar 


Keep it in fridge & use
