CURRY LEAF RICE

Curry leaf rice is one of the best food. Today i am sharing one of the traditional rice using curry leaves. curry leaves is rich source of iron & folic acid. It helps better to treat anaemia. Try to include this rice in your diet..  U can pack this rice for lunch box tooooo......

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Curry leaf - 1bowl (2 hand ful)
  2. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  3. Oil - 2 tsp
  4. Urad dal - 1 tsp
  5. Dry red chilli (small variety) - 8 - 10
  6. Tamarind - small piece
  7. Coconut grated - 2 tbl spn
  8. Sesame oil - 2 tbl spn
  9. Channa dal - 2 tsp
  10. Peanut - 1 tbl spn
  11. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  12. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  13. Salt - to taste

RECIPE :

Take all the ingredients
Heat oil in a kadai
Add urad dal 
Fry it , add dry chilli
Add curry leaves
Saute it in low flame
Add tamarind piece
Saute  it
Finally add grated coconut & saute
Let it cool
Grind it coarsely
Heat a kadai
Add sesame oil
Add channa dal & peanuts
Roast it until brown
Add turmeric powder & asafoetida
Add grounded mixture
Saute for a min
Add cooked rice
Add salt
Stir well gently
Serve hot with pappad or boiled egg
