CORIANDER RICE

Coriander rice is best option for lunch box. We should include coriander , mint in our food atleast twice a month. It has more health benefits.mint &coriander are good for thyroid.

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch
  2. Oil - 1 tbl spn
  3. Mustard seeds , urad dal - 1 tsp
  4. Onion- 1 small
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Urad dal - 2 tsp
  7. Dry red chilli - 4 - 5
  8. Coriander seeds (dhania) - 1  tsp
  9. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  10. Salt - to taste

RECIPE :

Take all the ingredients
Grind coriander leaves into smooth paste
Cook the rice and keep aside
Heat a pan, dry roast urad dal , chilli and coriander seeds
Let it cool
Make a coarse powder &keep aside
Now heat oil in a pan
Add mustard seeds, urad dal 
Let it splutter
Add onions , saute for 2 mins
Add turmeric powder
Now add grounded coriander paste
Saute it for 3 mins, add salt
Now add cooked rice
Mix it , add grounded powder
Mix well
Serve hot with pappad , potato roast.
