SEPPAN KILANGU PULIKULAMBU

Always finding gravy for lunch is typical task for meeee..... This gravy satisfies our tummy... tender colocasia cooked in yummy tamarind gravy is awesome .. jaggery gives nice sweet punch... Just give a try.... HAPPY COOKING..... 💗 INGREDIENTS : Seppan kilangu - 6 -8 Onion- 1 medium / shallots - 10  Tomato - 1/2pc Garlic - 5 pc Curry leaves - 1 spring Tamarind - small lemon size Sesame oil - 3 tbl spn Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp Cumin - 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds - small pinch Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Chilli powder - 1 tbl spn Coriander powder - 4 tsp Hing - 1/2 tspKulambu powder - 12 tsp Jeera powder - 1tsp Salt - to taste Sugar / jaggery - 1 tsp RECIPE  :  Start by Cooking colocasia  (replanting kilangu) in pressure cooker for 1 whistle  Let it cool  Peel the skin and cut into small pieces  Chop onions and tomato  Heat a kadai  Add sesame oil  Temper the ingredients, mustard seeds cumin and fenu...

SESAME SEEDS THOGAYAL / ELLU THOVAYAL

This thogayal is best side dish for ulundhu rice.. it has many health benefits.. it is good to have with lemon rice , curd rice also..  Just give a tryy.... HAPPY COOKING..... 🎁💱 INGREDIENTS  :  sesame seeds  / ellu  - 50 gms  Dry chilli  - 12  Coconut grated - 3 tbl spn  Tamarind - small piece  Salt - to taste  RECIPE  :  Take all the ingredients  Dry roast sesame seeds In the same pan add little oil and fry red chillis, keep aside Take the blender  Put tamarind  Add dry chillies and coconut Add salt and sprinkle little water  Blend it well , Add water if needed Finally add roasted sesame seeds Blend again Serve it with ulundhu rice ENJOY ...... 💐

GULAB JAMUN WITH KHOYA

Gulab jamun is everyone's favourite, it is simple to make. I love those brown beauties..... Making this in home and having it is more healthy than store bought ones. There are many different ways in making jamuns.  I will share afterwards.. this khoya jamun gives rich taste....  JUST GIVE A TRY ....... HAPPY COOKING.....📍 INGREDIENTS:  Khoya - 200 gms  Maida - 1/2 cup  Milk powder - 1 tbl spn  Cooking soda - small pinch  Milk - 2 tbl spn  Ghee - 1 tbl spn  Sugar- 1 + 1/2 cup  Water - 2 cups  Cardamom pods - 3 Oil - for deep fry  RECIPE  :  Take all the ingredients  Start by making sugar syrup  Take sugar in a pan  Add water  Boil it  Add crushed cardamom pods  Boil for 10 - 15 mins  It should come to sticky consistency  Switch off the flame  Keep aside Take khoya in a bowl   Crumble it  Swift Maida over it...

Salads are good for health... I am in diet 😆 so wanted to  eat salads instead of asusual foods, in upcoming days u can see more salad recipes. This spicy cucumber salad is easy to make and taste great.... it is low in calories.  So u can consume without guilt .... GIVE IT A TRY ...... HAPPY COOKING...... 💘 INGREDIENTS  :  Cucumber  - 1  Onion - 1/2  Tomato  - 1/2  Roasted cumin powder - 3/4 tsp  Salt - to taste  Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp  Lemon juice- 1 tsp  Sugar - small pinch  (optional) RECIPE  :  Take all the ingredients  Slice onions , tomato and cucumber thinly  Take a bowl pour onion  Add tomato  Add cucumber  Now add cumin powder, salt and chilli powder  Add lemon juice  Add sugar if needed  Toss well Serve it chilled or as it is  ENJOY...... 💢

HOME STYLE ONION TOMATO SANDWICH

Sandwich is my favourite.... it can be taken as breakfast  or evening snack... I love Onion tomato thokku, So I wanted to try this recipe....  Believe me it came out yummy and our home style one... You can do this without cheese , it is purely optional.  I made this as low oil and without butter bcoz of calorie conscious (eeeeee 😂😂😂)...  Give a try....
